**Position Summary**

General Accounting - Manages the Mexican accounting system ( contpaq ), provides on-time financial statements in accordance with Mexican accounting regulations, reconciles all general ledger accounts in the Contpaq system, prepares all different schedules for external auditors, coordinates and supervises people soft vs. contpaq reconciliation ledger

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Review and modify all financial entries received from PeopleSoft in order to properly capture entries in US system under Mexican GAAP rules, working together with the US General Accounting team to ensure that Mexican companies close the Mexico general ledger on time.
- Reconcile all Mexican general ledger accounts for each company between the sub-ledgers and the Contpaq accounting system.
- Coordinate on a weekly basis the closing of the Mexican General Ledger.Provide information for external auditors as required for the annual statutory audit and periodic other audits, including ad-hoc analyses for individual situations.

**Position Requirements**:

- Level of Formal Education:A Master's degree (MA, MS, MBA) or equivalent.
- Area of Study:Accounting
- Years of Experience:Two to three years.
