**About the role**

Seasoned International Trade Compliance professional working independently. Advises on the operation of compliance programs, implements compliance policies, and maintains trade compliance records.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Provide daily support to Carrier Mexico's business units in import and export customs clearance. Administer, control, and maintain the documentary file related to the electronic foreign trade file, including the follow-up of audits to said file with the different responsible areas in each plant.
- Develop and provide training and guidance throughout the organization on import and export compliance requirements, as well as Carrier's strategies to adhere to these regulations.
- Administration and control of NOM permits, notices, and notifications to be submitted to government entities such as: hydrocarbon report notice, security matrix, payment of rights, annual insurance notice, customs letters, among others.
- Implement and train business units for the administration of Carrier Mexico's fixed asset control software.
- Provide support to ensure the correct declaration of identifying data in customs for asset imports.
- Ensure compliance with VAT Certification and IMMEX program obligations, providing support in their monitoring.
- Provide support in external Foreign Trade audits with Mexican authorities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Relations, or Global Business.
- Customs legislation (5 years).
- Customs clearance (5 years).
- IMMEX/CIVA/AEO (3 years).
- Advanced English.

- Proficiency in customs clearance.
- Proficiency in customs compliance.
- IMMEX & Certified Companies.
- AEO Program.
- Proficiency in Excel and databases.
- ERPs (SAP).
