We are looking for a R&D Lab Technician to join our Bio-Based Solution team in Oberwinterthur.

**Your main tasks and responsibilities**:
- Contribute to the development of production and purification processes for bio-renewables.
- Perform synthesis and purification experiments from the lab-scale up to pilot level, implement characterization experiments and contribute to their optimization.
- Analyze, process and demonstrate results in reports and internal meetings.
- Contribute to setting up new lab and pilot infrastructure.
- Support pilot-scale trials in the field of renewable bio-monomer and -polymer production.
**To succeed in this role, you will need**:
- A completed Master’s in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
- A strong background in chemical engineering and purification processes such as distillation, filtration, adsorption/desorption and liquid-liquid extraction.
- Experience with relevant analytical equipment (HPLC, GC, titrations, ICP-OES).
- Know-how of process design and organic chemistry is regarded as an advantage.
