Senior Financial Reporting and Systems Analyst

**Position Overview**:
Seeking a Senior Financial Analyst based out of our Tijuana facility to join as a key partner to our entire FP&A organization. This is an exciting role to join a fast-growing, innovative medical device company in a rapidly evolving environment. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting maintenance of financial systems, analyzing financial data, and supporting preparation of financial reports. You will play a critical role in supporting the FP&A team by reducing manual processes and enabling the team to focus on high-level value-adding efforts. You will work closely with finance, accounting, and data intelligence teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in maintenance and development of our financial system (Planful) to support accounting and finance functions, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, headcount and CapEx reporting.
- Prepare, maintain, and support production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for management, Board of Directors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports, identify, and resolve discrepancies as well as implement solutions to avoid reoccurring errors.
- Support and enhance current financial reports (Cloud, Spotlight) and dashboards (Planful Dashboard, Tableau and Power BI).
- Support the technology architecture of our Financial Planning Systems by recommending process improvement initiatives and automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any process and financial system issues.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in financial reporting and analysis and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Since this role is embedded into FP&A team, you should be able to understand and decipher financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, etc.)
- Perform AdHoc analysis, produce ad-hoc financial reports and assist with ad-hoc projects.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of experience with strong working knowledge in financial reporting, analysis, forecasting including experience with financial systems and/or data management
- Strong English language proficiency
- Some technical / financial systems background
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail, with the highest standards of accuracy and precision

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
- Experience with multiple ERP systems, FP&A planning tools (Planful) and Salesforce a plus
- Experience with Tableau and Power BI a plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to drive continuous improvement of systems and processes
- High performance standards with high ethical values and confidentiality
- Flexible in dealing with ambiguity to deliver results in a dynamic growth company with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
