**WHAT TO EXPECT**

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Santa Fe office, you will be ensuring tax legislation and guarantee Gates Mexico processes are aligned to Tax and Statutory requirements to get in compliance with Tax Authorities
**Key responsibilities**:

- Submit monthly tax compliance with Mexican Authorities
- Managed with the local team Mexican entities taxes.
- Supervision of records and accounting balances related to tax filings
- Assist local team in any review or audit process established by MTA.
- Analysis and reconciliation between accounting statutory and tax authority records
- Managed deferred tax quarterly calculations
- Assist Tax manager providing supporting documentation for quarterly tax package.
- Assist VAT monthly refund request process in front of MTA providing analysis and interpretation regarding Mexican Tax laws
- Analysis and measure of impacts in local transactions related Mexican tax law updates

**ABOUT YOU**
- 5 to 7 years of experience
- College degree in Accountant or Administrative
- Understanding of the end-to-end tax process in order to analyze monthly tax payments as well as tax authority audits.
- Excellent data entry skills with ability to process high volume transactions while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
- Composure under pressure and demonstrated reliability.
- Effectively handles conflict and demonstrates flexibility in work style to accommodate changing priorities and fixed deadlines.
- Strong team player: proactively able to step in to support other team members as needed and share knowledge to allow cross training of all functions, builds collaborative relationships.
- Oracle ERP desirable
- Excel
- Understanding of the end-to-end monthly and annual tax calculations
- Strong knowledge in Mexican Tax Authorities Audit procedures.
