Product Systems Testing

The Product - Systems Testing NG - Consultant I participates in project reviews, revisions, production problem corrections, enhancements, and usability testing of any functionality required to administer policy sales and servicing in the NPS and ANA operating systems along with working with the business group and developers. Provides business knowledge and technical support to successfully implement system changes in the comprehensive policy and agency management system to comply with filed programs for multiple states, companies, products and lines of business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepares test plans and scenarios for usability testing, executes test scenarios, approves project implementation and verifies the production output upon implementation
- Verifies the accuracy of new states and products, rate revisions, projects, and production problem corrections, to ensure a quality product
- Works with the business group and developer to ensure a common, consistent product for all states, products and lines of business for internal and external system customers. Documents requirements and software defects and works with business users, business analysts, and developers for quality assurance
- Reviews and researches production problems; determines the extent to which they are testing, development, or user errors Determines impact of issues on the business units, develops alternative work processes until issues are resolved, works with developer to recreate problem and recommend solution
- Provides support to various areas including researching additional factors to determine overall impact affecting a cost benefit analysis and other diagnostic services that support decision making
- Builds a library of reusable testing tools for functional testing, database testing, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests and integration testing for product specific quality assurance

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1+ years of relevant experience with formal testing methodology or relevant business operations experience
- Ability to adhere to established Software Development Lifecycle methods
- Ability to ensure all documentation is in order to facilitate audit requirement
- Demonstrate analytical planning and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization
- Ability to escalate issues appropriately
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
- Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities

inquiring about system functionality
- Previous experience in Insurance or Financial related industries
- Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry, compliance and regulatory related requirements
- Working towards a degree in MIS or other related field
- Knowledge of programming languages (SIEBEL, SQL, XML)
- Experience with Quality Management Testing tools
