We are hiring a **Procurement Specialist**

In your activities as **Procurement Specialist** you will place orders to meet production requirements for Siemens.

You will run open order reports to help drive material to support production

You will follow Material requirements planning (MRP) messages to push/pull delivery dates of purchased parts.

Expedite material to meet production requirements.

Interface with supplier quality, production planning and engineering.

You will independently solve basic and complex supply chain management issues.

Set up advanced logistics and customs process for purchased parts.

You will work with supplier quality, engineering, and planning to release Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to suppliers.

Sourcing activities and execution for supply base implementation according to the purchasing strategy - RFQ, Comparison, ToCo, Sourcing Committee.

In sourcing and Outsourcing activities taking always into consideration the requirements & suppliers of other sister Sites in the Americas for synergy proposes.

**Requirements**:
3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles.

Fluent English is a must

Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, International Business, Engineering, Economics, Marketing)

Negotiation skills and Strong problem-solving skills

Customer Service (driven)

Management of internal and cross functional teams

Proficiency in MS Office Applications

SAP MM Modules knowledge will be an asset

Material Management, Project Logistics and Import & Export know-how
