**Sr AWS Consultant**

**DevOps**
Full Time | Location: Mexico City | Hybrid Model

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**- Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using AWS services (e.g., CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit) and/or third-party tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and/or Terraform.- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions (e.g., Docker, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, AWS Fargate).Advise clients on Agile methodologies and fostering DevOps culture.- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and operational issues in AWS environments.- Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, DevOps tools, and industry trends.

What we need to see from you:
**Required Skills and Experience**
- ** Professional Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering roles in AWS environments. _(Adjust years as needed for role seniority.)_
- ** CI/CD Expertise**: Hands-on experience designing and implementing robust, automated CI/CD pipelines.
- ** Infrastructure as** Code (**IaC**)**: Strong expertise in AWS CloudFormation and/or Terraform. Experience with AWS CDK is a plus.
- ** Containers & Orchestration**: Practical experience with Docker and at least one of the following: Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, AWS Fargate.
- ** Automation & Scripting**: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- ** Core AWS Services for DevOps**: Deep knowledge of IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, and the AWS Code suite (CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline).
- ** Monitoring & Logging**: Experience with Amazon CloudWatch (Logs, Metrics, Alarms), and preferably with ELK Stack or Prometheus/Grafana.
- ** AWS Networking Knowledge**: Solid understanding of VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, ELB/ALB/NLB, and Route 53.
- ** Operating Systems**: Strong experience with Linux and/or Windows Server in cloud environments.- ** Problem-Solving Skills**: Strong analytical ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in distributed systems.
- ** Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- ** Serverless Experience**: Knowledge of AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions.
- ** Configuration Management**: Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- ** DevSecOps**: Experience integrating security tools (SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning) into CI/CD pipelines.
- ** Databases on AWS**: Familiarity with automated management and deployment of RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
- ** Agile Methodologies**: Experience with Scrum, Kanban.
- ** Cost Optimization (FinOps)**: Understanding of cost optimization in DevOps architectures and workflows on AWS.
- ** Consulting Experience**: Prior consulting experience working directly with clients and managing their expectations.
