**Descripción y Requisitos**

Provides support and improvement of manufacturing processes throughout the facility. Activities performed include Industrial and Process Improvement Engineering (lean manufacturing processes), to ensure the volume and productivity levels committed in Class “A” metrics, reliability of manufacturing processes, ergonomic considerations for a safe and continuous operations, risk-free to the operators; on-time delivery of products.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Works directly with manufacturing and industrial engineers in a team environment for problem solving, buy-in and support of new processes.
- Implementation & promotion the lean manufacturing operation (EMS), 5 S’s discipline, Poka Yokes design, KAIZEN, KANBAN, TPM, DFP, QUALITY CIRCLES, DMAIC, SMED and other initiatives, to continuously improve upon our own records
- Work stations design and update plant Lay-out.
- Standardized work sheets & Head counting developing
- Standard Time studies & line balance
- Process flow chart & Work Instructions developing.
- Production tooling purchasing order placing.
- Cost reduction projects leading.
- Update and development of IE forms, work instructions and procedures.
- Production operators Trainer & New Personnel training helper.
- Equipment and machinery installation assistance.
- Pilot run & new models launch supporting
- Weekly safety audits
The activities to be carried out include the following environmental information, indicated but not limited to:
Knowledge and understanding of the environmental policy of the plant, which must follow and promote, including established environmental goals as well as knowledge and identification of environmental aspects and impacts of activities in its area or process, the approach to continuous improvement, maintaining the required operational controls, proper handling, identification and segregation of chemical materials and waste.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- TSU Production Process/ Uncompleted bachelor degree
- Bilingual English - Spanish
- 1 + years of experience on manufacturing Eng.
- Computer skills
