Essential duties and responsibilities- Support supplier qualification processes, in cooperation with Supply Chain and Engineering.- Plan and execute Supplier Audits including follow-up of audit findings.- Coordinate supplier quality assurance agreements including implementation in supplier processes.- Support supplier quality performance monitoring process and identify and drive process improvements.- Support Supplier Change Request program.- Manage the Supplier Corrective Action/Preventive Action (SCAPA) program and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.- Perform supplier risk assessments coordinating data from multiple disciplines within the site and corporation.- Liaise with procurement, supplier, and site management to resolve site supplier quality issues and identify trends to assure compliance with regulatory requirements.- Responsible for maintaining supplier management systems.- Support sourced item qualification activities.
- Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree (engineering background preferred)-
- 3 + years of experience with Supplier Quality Management in a medical device manufacturing or similarly regulated industry-
- Ability to read blue prints and understand specifications-
- Requires strong oral, written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to handle multiple projects.-
- Fluent in English language-
- Competence in college level statistics and risk analysis tools preferred.-
- Must possess working knowledge of PC and MS office suite-
