TE Connectivity’s Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of proUnder limited supervision this position is responsible to audit and qualify external suppliers, sub-suppliers, processes and special processes to ensure the external suppliers are capable of supplying acceptable parts and products. Developing suppliers, handling corrective actions and supplier issues, supplier improvement actions, issuing and reviewing/ dispositioning First Articles are also integral to this position.

**Primary responsibilities include**:

- Lead/ conduct Systems, Technical, process, and special process audits as required.
- Lead the supplier quality related responsibilities in the New Product Introduction process.
- Act as supplier’s single-point-of-contact for topics and issues related to supplier quality.
- Lead First Article activities.
- Continually improve supplier performance through audits, coaching, teaching, training, and improvement actions.
- Measure and communicate supplier performance issues to the suppliers and TE.
- Audit, disposition potential new suppliers for Quality.
- Monitor quality data to ensure data accuracy and react to supplier performance issues to drive improvement.
- Periodically monitor quality specifications to ensure supplier compliance.
- Work with engineering to clarify and change specifications in regard to incoming goods as necessary.
- Clearly communicate (and enforce) TE's requirements and expectations to suppliers.
- Solicit, drive, monitor, review, approve and validate containment/corrective/preventive actions by suppliers.
- Participate is QBRs (Quarterly Business Review) with key suppliers as requested.
- Coordinate activities with Quality, Supplier Development and Incoming Inspectors

**What your background should look like**:

- 5+ years in supplier quality role with exposure to machining and special processes (plating, coating, heat treat, welding, etc.)
- 5+ years conducting quality and process audits
- 5+ years in manufacturing environment
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel internationally
- Travel: Up to 50%
- Education Experience: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
