**Customs Analyst**

**About the job**

RHI Magnesita is looking for an Customs Analyst in Ramos Arizpe, MX or Monterrey, N.L

This hybrid -remote position will be responsible for managing efficient and economical movement of goods: materials, products, or equipment across international borders in accordance with organizational policies and in compliance with relevant local, country, and international customs laws and processes

The Import / Export & Customs Professional report to the Head of Transportation & Customs NAM. This position will travel both domestically and internationally with about 10% travel time

**The Customs Analyst's tasks include**:

- Inventory tracking for 3rd Party Warehouses
- Inventory reconciliations and audits at 3rd Party Warehouses
- Assist with yearly physical inventor
- Complete investigations into transit backlog
- Receiving of inventory into SAP and monitoring of the OCR system
- Complete costing analysis of 3rd Party Warehouses
- Track recycling, reclaim, and scrap in 3rd Party Warehouses and consolidate material
- Consolidate and complete disposals of scrap materials
- Defining HS code
- Working with Auditors
- Understanding of Mexico customs process
- Availability to work on weekend
- Understanding process related to PROSEC & REGAL OCTAVA

**About you**

Do you have:

- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business or related
- 2 - 5 years of experience in responsibly managing efficient and economical movement of goods across international borders
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Proficiency in database creation/management, ERP system, ERP systems, SAP, SAP Ariba
- Knowledge of project management
- Independent worker and self-starter, who contributes to the overall team objectives
- Ability to learn quickly, understand business systems, and adapt to urgent requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
