**Business Intelligence & Reporting Developer**

Remote (WFH) Full-Time Position

We are seeking an experienced BI & Reporting Developer to drive enhancements and innovate across the program’s diverse business data, leveraging (primarily) Azure Data technologies and Power BI.

**Key activities include**:

- Collaboration with the Microsoft team to understand business priorities and objectives, and leverage this understanding to define requirements that can be understood by technical and non-technical audiences
- Building compelling, interactive, and actionable reporting on top of structured data models
- Delivering within the full BI lifecycle, from requirements analysis through design & development and on into release and support/maintenance phases
- Analyzing new/disparate data sources for integration with existing datasets to tell a comprehensive BI story

**Qualifications**:
**Required Experience**
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence professional with a particular emphasis in Microsoft SQL Server (preferably Azure SQL), including DAX
- 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying visually appealing reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI. Experience with Tableau or other visualization solutions can be considered as well.
- Experience working directly with customers to understand business needs & priorities, and translating those into clear, actionable technical solutions or requirements
- Development of business logic to meet requirements and implementation of same
- Experience collaborating with a broader team, mentoring, and supporting their shared success
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Excel reporting expertise (pivot tables, XLOOKUPS, Power Pivot, functions, macros, charts, etc.)

**Skills required**:

- Business-oriented with knowledge of business model and KPIs
- Data analytics and visualization management (preparation, mining, statistical analysis and data visualization)
- Project management, having the skills to prioritize and manage timelines.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Particular experience with Azure Data services & technologies (Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services )
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse
- Data Modelling
- ETL Process Creation
