- Join one of the world's leading luxury group. Richemont is hiring a Retail Accountant.- The Retail Accountant is responsible for Richemont Brands internal retail operations in terms of:- Timely revenue recognition and register
- Payment methods monitoring and proper confirmation
- Clarification of eventual inconsistencies between Boutiques’ reporting and Bank Account
- Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and Group rules**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Retail Accounting**:
Perform daily reconciliation between sales, payments and cash in bank accounts.
-Perform monthly retail closing: respect deadlines established by Head of controlling and Accounting & Tax Manager, Manual Invoices control, Retail AR reconciliation with Balance Sheet, Distant Sales Reporting and Advance Payments Monitoring.
-Coordinate the yearly sales audit reports with External Auditors and Mall Management.
-Be the responsible of the daily boutique report register: maximum delay allowed of 2 working days;
-Register After-Sale-Services income for Richemont’s retail Brands by recording cash, checks, transfers and credit card transactions.
-Monthly preparation and follow up of Boutiques and After Sales balance statements (to be delivered the first week of the following month).
-Research and process boutiques claims for invoices payment. Enter boutique claims credits, manual debit and credit memos to boutique’s Director.
-Accounting records of AMEX boutiques accounts; monitoring of AMEX suspense accounts and investigation of pending payments with ageing older than one month
-Enter finalized cash receipts and update retail accounts receivable ledger by customer and boutique.
-Challenge Boutique and Retail Management on daily transaction compliance as well as on Reporting to Finance.
-Be the first contact for the Boutiques on inquiries regarding all of the above.
-Participate in related special projects, as required.

**Retail analysis**:
- Maintain, update and produce the retail analysis reporting.
- Maintain and update the retail analysis database, based on excel.
- Produce monthly retail reporting.
- Provide ad hoc analysis.
- Reconcile retail client accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Provide monthly track on Manual Invoices per Boutique and challenge Boutique Direction in case of not compliance with P&P.
- Hotline with Boutiques in order to provide fast solution to invoicing errors.**Accounting (Other)**:
- Reconcile A/R, provide monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts related to Boutiques’ payment methods;
- Process credit card payments and credits (only if properly documented and authorized according to P&P);
- Inquire and process charge backs, returns, and bad cheques (only when authorized through SharePoint). Make accounts adjustments as needed.
- Check and process distant sales if compliant with internal policy.
- Inquire and confirm Bank transfer, Deposits and Cheques Deposits through the SharePoint Process.- The preceding Key Responsibilities statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by the people assigned to this job.
