**Typical Accountabilities**
- The Solution Manager will perform Line and people management responsibilities for a team of solutions analysts, Continuous Improvement, integration and Data Engineers team operating within GITC locations
- Leads, Coaches, or mentors other Solution Engineers and CI Engineers in defining business IT solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategies and priorities, as well as the target benefits, value expected and established AstraZeneca standards and security policies
- Will promote and ensure the effective use of AstraZeneca’s Software Development Lifecycle methodology and practices aligned with IT solution portfolio delivery.
- Will promote and ensure the Service Business as usual and the Business Continuity, being responsible of the Enterprise metrics achievement.
- Provides technical expertise to project and IT change implementation teams working on the development, configuration, testing, release, maintenance, and improvement of IT solutions
- Maintain effective interoperability of services and technologies and assures alignment of solutions designs with AstraZeneca standards, policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
- Maintains effective relationships and communications with business and market stakeholders aligned with SSD domain portfolio and Services
- Maintains overall accountability for solutions health that includes compliance, portfolio, solution upgrades, sustainability, innovation and automation capabilities aligned with SSD strategic roadmaps

**Vendor Management**
- Maintain vendor engagement ownership in managing day to day service solutions, vendor strategies, roadmaps aligning to Commercial IT business needs

**Continuous Improvement and Innovation**
- Leverages qualitative and quantitative data, including SDLC and service delivery KPIs, SLAs, MTTR and applicable metrics to drive continuous improvement backlog updates and maintain continuity of service level commitments
- Identify issues with current processes and provide input on proposed changes to enhance effectiveness of IT

**Operating Model**
- Accountable for partnering with enterprise functions (ETS, IGNITE, ECS, etc.) on services performance support SSD delivery and maintain entry point role for services strategy and improvement discussions with enterprise teams
- Responsible for effective rollout of agile, lean, delivery framework practices to solutions teams within the lead’s assigned portfolio
