**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:

- Supervise and manage the AMER Payroll team, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees within the AMER region.
- Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of payroll-related reports and filings.
- Manage the payroll checklists and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to address payroll-related issues and provide solutions.
- Conduct regular checks of payroll processes to identify and address any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Work closely with the Global Operations team and the General Ledger (GL) team to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes.
- Provide training and development opportunities for payroll team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
**About your skills**:

- 7+ years’ experience of HR related disciplines with 5 years in a HR Operations environment.
- 7+ years’ experience in managerial roles which required interactions with senior management.
- Experience working in a complex international/multi-cultural and fast moving environment.
- Sound HRIS management (reporting audit database management) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business human resources organizational psychology or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices within the AMER Geo
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Spanish and additional language would be a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification.
- Experience with multinational payroll processing.
