The Script QC will be in charge of the correction of translated scripts and formatting of the scripts to send for recording.

**DESCRIPTION**
- Check fluency, translation, terms and nuances of translated scripts.
- Perform translation tasks if needed.
- Manage projects of intermediate-high complexity, or greater depending on the team’s needs.
- Deliver according to the deadline set for each file/project.
- Compile and send clear instructions and feedback to Head of QC according to each clients’ requests.
- Access, download, organize and check material.
- Resolve any technical issues or doubts that might arise during the project.
- Receive and verify files according to the standards.
- Register all the necessary information depending on the workflow in different shared tools within departments.
- Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor.
- Be able to lead and coordinate with both in-house team and freelancers.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Very good communication skills in **English**and **Spanish**, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail.
- Highly organized.
- Multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations.
- Ability to work under pressure.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Knowledge of the translation industry (Audiovisual field would be a plus).
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent related to languages, translations, audiovisual field or similar.
- At least 2 years of experience on a related position.

**DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Computer savvy. (Knowledge of any subtitling software is a plus)
- Knowledge of the following languages would be an asset: Portuguese, Japanese or Korean.
