Content Developer

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Content Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico. Our client is the world’s largest travel guidance platform, helping hundreds of millions each month become better travelers, from planning to booking to taking a trip. Travelers across the globe use the site and app to discover where to stay, what to do, and where to eat based on guidance from those who have been there before. With over 887 million reviews and opinions of nearly 8 million businesses, travelers turn to clients to find deals on accommodations, book experiences, and reserve tables at delicious restaurants. They discover great places nearby as a travel guide company available in 43 markets and 22 languages. A Content Developer creates reliable production templates quickly and with high quality. They mentor more junior Content Developers, can complete complex projects with guidance from their tech lead, and communicate proactively with project stakeholders. They demonstrate in-depth knowledge of aspects of their team's systems in addition to their projects, can improve that system, and can take part in relevant on-call rotations. A CD2 actively seeks opportunities to deepen its expertise in one or more areas while continuing to grow into a strong generalist.- Requirements:

- At least 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
- Experience with responsive design.
- Experience working with ESPs such as ExactTarget, Mailchimp, and Marketo (preferably for an online travel business or retailer).
- Fluency in written and spoken English (in another European language preferred).
- A university degree (or equivalent) is required in Computer Science preferred.
Nice to have:

- Some experience in localization.
Responsibilities:

- Use the latest and most excellent CRM technologies.
- Cooperate with localization specialists to translate and test content to display correctly for the 17 languages the client supports.
- Perform QAing template functionality with project managers and other stakeholders.
- Manage lead times with the stakeholders to ensure all deadlines are met.
