Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and visionary **Senior Cloud Engineer** to join our technology team and lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of secure and scalable cloud solutions using cutting-edge tools and technologies.

This role offers an opportunity to work on complex cloud infrastructure challenges, automation initiatives, and cross-functional collaborations to drive innovation and efficiency.

**Responsibilities**
- Design cloud solutions with a focus on Azure Networking, Azure Firewall, and Azure Policy while ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for scalable and repeatable deployments
- Implement and optimize Continuous Integration systems to streamline development and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and network issues, providing solutions and guiding the team through incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure alignment of cloud solutions with organizational goals
- Automate manual workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead
- Maintain and improve monitoring, alerting, and on-call procedures for cloud infrastructure
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members
- Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to best practices for cloud infrastructure

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud engineering or a similar role
- Expertise in Azure solutions including Azure Firewall, Azure Networking, and Azure Policy
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration systems and related tools
- Knowledge of Git branching strategies like GitFlow, GitOps, Trunk development
- Background in Windows systems and operational troubleshooting tasks
- Familiarity with cloud concepts and platforms, with Azure as required and optional experience with AWS or GCP

**Nice to have**
- Background in Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform
- Expertise in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
- Automation-focused development experience in previous roles
- Experience working as part of an SRE or Operations team
