**JR DB Operations Specialist - Engineering Team / Global Company**

This Remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in Mexico.

Occasional travel may be required for key meetings, conferences, or team events.

We seek a skilled and motivated **JR** **DB Operations Specialist** to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions while ensuring scalability, reliability, and exceptional user experiences.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist in analyzing and improving query performance under guidance.
- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database queries.
- Learn and contribute to writing stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Support ETL processes by helping with data extraction and transformation.
- Ensure data integrity and assist in generating reports for business intelligence.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 1+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL queries in MySQL or other relational databases.
- Some knowledge of query performance tuning techniques such as indexing.
- Familiarity with stored procedures, functions, and triggers is a plus.
- Basic understanding of relational database design principles.
- Willingness to learn ETL processes and data transformation techniques.
- Fluent English (B1/B2 level) for effective written and verbal communication.

**BONUS SKILLS (HIGHLY PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED)**:

- Some experience in backend/frontend development using modern tools (PHP/JS).
- Familiarity with modern web development practices and agile methodologies.

**WE OFFER**:
USD 1,000 - 1,100 per month (as a contractor)

**WORKING HOURS**:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST
