Bachelor’s Degree in food science, Pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology or related areas. -2+ years of experience with local Food compliance regulations. -Experience using risk assessment skills (regulatory requirements, safety and quality risks). - Experience using understanding of complicated scientific methods and technical terms to communicate effectively with personnel from multiple areas of the business. -Experience in managing multiple projects. -Experience in data analysis to identify trends and patterns that trigger some action. -Experience in product safety regulations. -Compliance and project management experience.

We are looking for a Product and Food safety specialist to support the Compliance Programs.

In this role you will be responsible of executing the global strategies into local marketing that may include coordinate the Safety investigation (SI) program, implement word wide SI harmonization process in LATAM, support new Market places expansions and ensure local regulatory compliance.

Key job responsibilities
- Perform Product and Food Safety Investigations (PFSI);
- Weekly PFSI metrics review with C-Ops team;
- Coordinate PFSI actions with POE (Perfect Order Experience);
- Work to launch Detail Page Audit MX;
- Manage the Detail Page Audit program for MX;
- Selling Partner Control support (proactive listing controls in Seller Central review) for Dietary Supplement, BW&S & Baby Food and formula;
- Lead the creation and launching of food gating’s (vendor gating);
- Support Product and Food Safety reinstatements;
- Support new market places expansions projects with the product and food Safety regulations screening;
- Support the implementation of Product and Food Safety programs in new market places
- Support OCR project for MX;
- Lead processes improvement projects for PFSC programs in LATAM;
- Create dashboards and trending tools to permit scale of the process;
- Perform risk and safety assessments for business initiatives.

- Retail or regulated industry experience -Experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements -Common sense, great judgment -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations -Ability to turn complex compliance requirements into scalable processes -Excellent command of Spanish and English (verbal and written) -Ability to work independently and autonomously. -Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, commitment dates and reporting. -High precision and attention to detail. -Strong analytical skills.
