You will
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production support, infrastructure, database, Unix, and Windows teams, to establish a comprehensive monitoring suite and provide ongoing support for monitoring tools.
- Oversee the end-to-end installation and integration of atomIQ monitoring software.
- Develop and document processes and technical guides to enhance and automate the monitoring dashboard.
- Design and develop custom monitoring tools and dashboards tailored to specific needs.
- Automate alerting, reporting, and logging mechanisms to improve response times and accuracy.
- Optimize system observability using metrics, logs, and traces (e.g., with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Work closely with DevOps, Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), and development teams to define monitoring requirements.
- Improve existing monitoring architecture to support performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD observability pipelines and alerting rules.
- Utilize automation and configuration management tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or equivalent technologies to streamline monitoring processes.
- Understand and differentiate between static and anomaly detection for metrics and trends to improve monitoring accuracy.

**All you need is...**:

- Strong proficiency in Scripting and Automation, particularly Python
- 5+ years experience with Unix/Linux Server platform
- Relevant certifications in monitoring tools or DevOps practices.
- Experience with cloud-based monitoring solutions.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze and interpret monitoring data to provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations as needed.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
