**What does a great **Systems Engineer II - Monitoring **do?**

Will help us modernize our technology stack by developing automation across multiple platforms, help us develop and maintain a CI/CD pipeline to make our deployment process more efficient, and help us improve how we monitor and observe the health of Travelport’s products by helping us engineer and administer solutions in our Splunk platform.

**What we look for/who would prosper in this role?**
- Someone with solid Python programming skills. Need to be able to demonstrate 3-5 years of experience using Python in progressively complex solutions
- Needs to demonstrate strong automation skills. Experience developing Ansbile playbooks is preferable, with Terraform being a potential alternative experience
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Github Actions is desired
- Experience using Splunk, developing data ingest models, working with heavy forwarders, creating base and correlation searches, and dashboard creation is desired.
- Experience using and administering an Application Performance Management (APM) tool like AppDynamics is a plus
