Position Overview

The Sourcing Manager, LATAM, will play a key role in Choice’s newly formed Strategic Partnerships Team. The Sourcing Manager is responsible for generating leads, vetting, and recommending qualified warehousing and transportation partners to meet the needs of Choice and our Clients. The Sourcing Manager will collaborate with a cross-functional internal team to contract and onboard selected partners, and to ensure operational readiness and seamless implementation. This role has a strong influence on the development and execution of the logistics network strategy, including enabling emerging service offerings.

Job Responsibilities
- Align with cross-functional team to identify and prioritize logistics network needs considering strategic priorities.
- Use industry tools and networking skills to proactively generate a pipeline of interested potential partners for the given logistics network need. It is anticipated that time will be split approximately 85% for warehousing partnerships and 15% for transportation partnerships.
- Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with potential partners and internal stakeholders.
- Vet potential partners against established criteria and make prioritized recommendations for partner selection.
- Facilitate communication between partners internal team members during pricing and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate with Operations team to ensure operational readiness and seamless operational implementation for onboarded partners.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance our processes.
- All other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications
- B.S. in Supply Chain or related field
- Strong logistics operations background
- 5+ years of experience in vendor compliance and relationship management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- Project management experience preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment
