**About the Position**
We are seeking a **Technical Program Manager** who is interested in joining a highly dynamic and creative development team. This is a senior role within the Technology Department. Verato’s SaaS software offering is a healthcare-specific Master Data Management (hMDM) platform that provides our customers with a complete and trusted 360-degree view of their patients, consumers, and providers. This technical software development position is focused on enhancing an established product based on client needs. This position **reports to the Head of Program Management** within the Technology Department.
**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**
- Oversee, plan, and manage the product development stages, reviewing the development of the product commitment through the release
- High degree of competency with program management including, Agile methodology, identifying and managing risks, tracking dependencies and milestones, and communicating overall program status
- Provide cross-functional coordination across Engineering and Product Management, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes
- Experience driving product roadmap strategy and definition with the scrum teams
- Work with teams to clarify goals and deliverables; Promote planning and prioritization practices based on data
- Create detailed project plans at each product development stage for maximum efficiency
- Work closely with engineers, product owners/managers and other engineering teams such as DevOps, Data, Security to get high-quality products and features throughout the software project lifecycle (build, test and release on time)
- Manage project schedules, identify possible issues, address them proactively, and clearly communicate with project stakeholders
- Identify opportunities and coordinate the implementation of solutions to improve execution of the organization as a whole, to increase engineering productivity through tools and process improvements
- Create and refine processes when necessary, maintain focus on reliability, improving team velocity and continual improvements, and automation and scaling
- Track various key metrics related to process, product and customer that need to be to communicated to stakeholders, analyzing data to help create reports, charts and dashboards; leverage these metrics to drive improvements and influence behaviors
- Facilitate technical design and architecture discussions across cross-functional teams
- Decipher technical needs of other departments within the organization and translate them across stakeholder groups
