**About the Role**

We're looking for a customer-obsessed and impact-driven Senior Operations Associate to join our Groceries and Retail team within Global Operations, Experience, and Quality. In this role, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to create seamless and reliable experiences for Uber users-helping ensure that every order arrives on time and meets our high quality standards.

You'll collaborate across Tech, Community Operations, Merchant Operations, Catalog, and other teams to reduce defects, prevent cancellations, and minimize fraud. Your mission: make sure orders are accurate and that couriers and shoppers are empowered to deliver consistently exceptional experiences.

We're seeking someone who blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and who thrives in building scalable, sustainable solutions. You'll also champion improvements to the shopping experience, advocating for the needs of consumers, couriers, and merchants every step of the way.

**What You'll Do**
- Lead global quality initiatives that enhance customer experience and improve retention. Set goals, define KPIs, manage planning and execution, and keep stakeholders aligned across regions.
- Drive product enhancements by collaborating with Tech teams. Help define requirements, validate experiments, support launches, and iterate to improve shopping quality.
- Own and track performance metrics. Build reporting tools, monitor key KPIs, and share insights with leadership to support decision-making.
- Use data to solve big problems. Analyze trends, uncover root causes, and lead impactful programs that address global quality challenges.

**What You'll Need**
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations, Strategy, Business Management, or a related field.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using SQL, Excel and Google Analytics.
- Proven ability to manage and scale programs that align with strategic goals.
- A balance of big-picture thinking and strong execution skills.
- Experience collaborating across multiple teams, including Product, Legal, Operations, and Support.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make complex topics clear and engaging for diverse audiences.

**Bonus Points**
- Experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and skilled at creating structured, thoughtful solutions.
- An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
