**Logistics Manager**

**Location: Mexico City**

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum bachelors degree
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the same or similar job key activities and responsibilities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Excellent in English in writing and speaking
- Excellent knowledge of organization and process management

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supervise daily operations within the department related to particular customers, customs or returns
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations and ensure the quality of all processes within the department
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with service providers and identify opportunities to streamline shipping and transportation processes
- Continually assess service performance levels and take timely action to remove performance barriers
- Identify potential opportunities with existing carriers or new transportation partners
- Liaise and negotiate with key players such as carriers and continually review transportation rates to keep costs down where possible
- Communicate with suppliers to achieve profitable deals, resolve problems, and achieve mutual satisfaction.
- Manage possible logistics issues and address any problems or complaints that may arise quickly and amicably
- Manage different processes within the Logistics department to ensure staying on budget increase productivity, hone accuracy and timeliness targets
- Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures
- Audit shipping costs and invoices
- Oversee and manage all projects affecting the business unit
- Proactive reporting of outcomes and goals achieved
