The Customer Advanced Quality Engineer (CAQE) plays a key role in AS&UX product development from the initial business sourcing stage to series production.

Our customer advanced quality engineer (CAQE) acts as the quality customer interface during product development and launch. CAQE drives built-in quality, quality assurance, and APQP activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze customer requirements during the sourcing phase to identify and resolve gaps in quality, manufacturing and warranty requirements
- Drive built-in end-to-end quality by risk identification and mitigation
- Lead APQP execution to achieve on-time performance
- Drive identification and flow down of key characteristics to suppliers and production sites
- Develop initial First Time Quality (FTQ) models, control plans and safe launch containment plans for new products/customers
- Support programs transition to production
- Assure that key lessons learned are captured and addressed in new designs

**Must Haves (Basic Qualifications)**:

- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.
- 3+ years of work experience in automotive product design, quality, process, or manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem solving capabilities
- Experience in DFMEA/PFMEA
- AIAG/VDA APQP
