Test Engineer SMT

**Main roles & responsibilities**:

- Ensure safety first within the area of responsibility enhancing or keeping Test Equipment safe for all employees.
- Coordinate test technicians in accordance with the company policies and priorities.
- Responsible of installation, validation and release of test equipment, CPLD programmers and OBEs.
- Actively participate in QPA, NPI and ECN activities within area of responsibility.
- Receive, define and provide the necessary training to maximize performance of the test equipment.
- To document lessons learned, troubleshooting guidelines and test processes to improve support time with other engineers and technicians.
- To monitor performance based on defined metrics area as FPY, False Rejects, Downtime, and provide feedback to other departments as needed for implement actions to drive continual improvements.
- To keep weekly metrics and action traker updated for improvement FPY, Downtime, False Rejects, other, etc.

**Requirements for the job**:

- Bachelors Degree in Electronic or Mechatronics
- English advanced
- Previous experience as a test engineer and troubleshooting skills.
- FT test equipment experience in the SMT electronic industry.

**Knowledge/skills**:

- Ability to diagnose and repair test equipment and product.
- Knowledge of measurement equipment such as multimeter and oscilloscope.
- Programming and knowledge of some packages suchs as Linux, C++, Windows
- Team work
