As a Manufacturing engineer, you will drive improvements in production of NEMA Motors in Guadalajara. In this role your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.

**This position reports to**:
Production Engineering Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets.
- Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements.
- Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications.
- Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team.
- Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line.

**Your background**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical-Electrical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing companies (metal/mechanics, electrical, electronics). Focused on assembly and packaging.
- Experience in project management and implementation.
- Lean Six Sigma Training/Certificate (Green Belt) desirable.
- Experience with ISO internal audits for quality, safety and environment systems is a plus.
- Knowledge in SAP, Office and basic AutoCAD.
- Availability to travel. Valid visa and passport.
- English Advanced.
