Accounting and Controlship Manager

**Brief Description of Key Job Requirements**:
This position will provide support for the oversight and coordination operations financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Deliver key Controllership objectives while supporting the Mission & Vision of Carrier Corporation Finance. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Manufacturing Accounting Commercial.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Executes monthly and quarterly closing activities to deliver results for Carrier Building Technologies
- Execute and deliver operational activities, with a clear focus on reconciliations and balance sheet
- Document and test the environment control to ensure effective processes
- Perform reviews and analytics on balance sheet results and deep-dive reconciliation reviews
- Oversee and manage shared service activities (CBS, RTR) to confirm timely and accurate monthly deliverables
- Oversee complex accounting activities relating to contract manufacturing agreements to include but not limited to revenue and contra-revenue accounting and assessment of inventory terms and conditions
- Provide accounting guidance on capital expenditures accounting, and other higher-level general accounting activities as defined by Controllership
- Review controls around annual physical inventory and /or cycle count programs
- Perform annual risk assessment
- Participate in ad-hoc tasks/projects as needed
