This position has overall responsibility for strategic and proactive physical security support for Mexico. The Regional Security Manager will have both direct reports and security contract guards under their responsibility. This position reports to the Director Global Security, with a dotted line to the local senior site leaders.

**DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee a network of security personnel and vendors, who safeguard the company's assets, as well as the physical safety of employees and visitors. Physical protection responsibilities will include asset protection, workplace violence prevention, access control systems, and video surveillance.
- Develop and implement security strategies relative to employees and physical assets. This will include the maintenance and oversight of a security technology infrastructure.
- Research, evaluate, and test surveillance technology in order to develop the most appropriate system to achieve security and maintain cost efficiency.
- Manage the development and implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures and disaster response.
- Partner with Environmental Health, Safety (EHS) and Environmental professionals and Executive Management to respond to natural and man-made crises including crafting the site-specific incident response plans based on the company's business continuity requirements and plans.

- Confined Space Entry
- Contractor Safety
- Work at Height
- Fire Prevention and Protection
- Hot Work
- Proactively monitor potential security and reputation threats to the company and its associates.
- Administration and oversight of visitor access policy and procedures.
- Reporting and document control/retention of security incidents.
- Ability to provide proactive security solutions for people and physical assets.
- Identify protection goals, objectives, and metrics consistent with the corporate strategic plan.
- Work with the Executive management team to prioritize security initiatives and spending based on appropriate risk management.
- Maintain relationships with regional local, state and federal law enforcement, local union and labor associations and other related government agencies.
- Oversee incident response planning, as well as the investigation of security breaches, and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary.
- Conduct or supervise investigations, as appropriate. Work with HR and Legal to design and conduct highly sensitive investigations to facilitate fact finding and probe into potentially illegal or inappropriate activities.
- Provide management and leadership to assigned security staff.
- Provide management and oversight of third party contractors who provide security guards at facilities.
- Manage departmental budgets and staffing plans.
- Create and maintain an environment of continuous improvement.
- Provide metrics and regular status reports regarding the initiatives of each plant's safety program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide Project Management to major initiatives.
- Ability to promote Kohler Co.'s global corporate security vision, policies and procedures to region of responsibility

**WORK EXPERIENCES**
- 5-10 years of Security professional and investigative experience.
- Corporate Security professional for industrial or agricultural businesses preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing security teams.
- Former military or law enforcement experience preferred.
- CTPAT experience preferred.

**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university in a related field preferred. Exception may be made based on history of successful and every increasing leadership roles.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY**
- Supervisor responsibility for direct staff and third-party security services.
