**Position Summary**:
The Advanced Process Engineer is responsible for supporting SAP Sealing locations with BOM and Routing updates by following the standard global process. We work with cross functional teams to solve problems in order, to get costs updated into SAP on time. This position works closely with Plant Engineering, Plant Launch, Program Management, Finance and Purchasing

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Works closely with Cooper Standard’s manufacturing SAP Sealing facilities to load new parts into SAP
- Updates all Sealing SAP plants BOM and Routing Changes to SAP from BOM and Routing workflow
- Update KPI on new parts costs comparing SAP to Auto Quote
- Work with and train Sealing SAP plants on how to fill out Cost Estimation Form for submitting BOM and Routing workflow
- Work with finance on updating all new programs launching in the new budget year
- Work with Sealing SAP plants on questions related to BOMs and routing issues
- Work on new ideas to improve accuracy and processes related to the job
- May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description
