The **Plant Procurement Analyst **is responsible for price maintenance in SAP for the LATAM region as well as support in the search and selection of suppliers that centrally supply the different areas of the plant with productive materials, following the purchasing guidelines proposed by the company and the division. You must ensure that these suppliers offer the best conditions that exist in the market in terms of price, quality and service, likewise, participate in all corporate programs and obtain the objectives determined for the purchasing area year after year, especially inventory control. savings projects, attention to the service of the production plant and participation in the development of global and/or division purchasing projects. and global purchases for the division.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and monitor suppliers.
- Control the quality and service indices of the suppliers.
- Identify and recommend new alternatives for materials and suppliers.
- Develop materials and/or suppliers due to internal and risk management requirements.
- Coordinate savings projects related to materials.
- Generate quotation and bidding processes through corporate tools (SAP Esourcing).
- Develop the ESM program in the subsidiary (Enhancement Supplier's Management).
- Execute procurement KPIs and work with the local Supply Chain team to ensure continuous improvement.
- Execute effective negotiations for the purchase of local/imported materials.
- Generate and implement savings projects (FTG). Encourage the use of e-tools (auctions, e-Savings, etc.) to help manage FTG programs, simplification and standardization.
- Define the best purchase conditions such as delivery terms, credits, packaging (in collaboration with the packaging engineering department), etc.
- Generate, review and deliver the standard cost book for raw materials and packaging material to the cost department.
- Solve material delivery problems.
- Develop and Implement, in conjunction with Planning, projects to optimize inventories of raw materials and packaging material according to the objectives set.
- In conjunction with the Manufacturing Area, ensure that the launches of local/export products are effectively executed according to the established dates.
- Perform any other function related to your position
**Requirements**:
- University degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or related.
- 1 year of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain.
- English language proficiency of at least 80%.
