Local Procurement Specialist

In this role, you are the single point of contact for local leaders in a specific geographic or plant location. You manage the interactions between business stakeholders and sourcing teams and collaborate across the manufacturing, supply chain and the commercial business. You also manage the local implementation of regional and/or global projects.

**How you will contribute**

You will execute the daily procurement agenda by acting as the single point of contact for the procurement function at a site, in a country or country cluster, and will oversee the daily interaction with plants, supply chain, commercial teams, quality assurance, sourcing teams and suppliers. You will also deliver service-level targets by ensuring material availability, escalating when needed, and support business continuity planning implementation, activating when needed, support the execution of sourcing projects and execute sourcing/spot-buying or contracting activities as agreed with the accountable spend areas, and own the source-to-pay process compliance key indicators and take corrective action when necessary.

**More about this role**The LPS - US & MTY HUB, position will get focus to maintain control over the Operational procurement activities related with the Indirect Spend Categories (FM, BS, MKT, LOG, etc) from the U.S. Mondelez Sites (MTY HUB MX & U.S.), as well to act as a key partner from the SAL teams, trough the proper execution of strategic Supply Chain Projects implementation

**What you need to know about this position**:This position is physically based in Monterrey Nuevo Leon, Mexico, but its impact is regional (U.S & Mexico - Monterrey Plants). You will have influence over management activities from International vendors, mainly Mexico & U.S.

**Education / Certifications**:Industrial, Systems, Mechanical Engineering, bachelor’s in business administration, International relations degree, or any other Management Administration Professional degree.

**Job specific requirements**:
Fully Billingual (Spanish & English) (To be able to maintain business conversations, Oral & Written)

MRP Systems (SAP, COUPA, ORACLE, ZYCUS, TUNGSTEN, etc)

MS OFFICE (Advanced Level)

Master Degree is a plus.

**Travel requirements**:Between 25% - Mexico & U.S Sites (Sporadic Only when it would be needed)

**Work schedule**:Monday to Friday (8:00 am - 6:00 pm)
