**Descripción del puesto**:
As a Senior Data Engineer you will identify data solutions, write ETL-processes, troubleshoot process and code. You will support our software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.

Activities:

- Support our teams on streamlining their works involving Kubernetes, Code Repository, Code Review, Democratization of Code as well as following up on implemented digital products and their next development.
- Maintain a clear vision for what is required for maturing and successfully sustaining the digital products in the longer term.
- Translate business requirements into design specifications and code, where you will be writing programs and executing ad hoc queries.
- Support internal clients and quickly gain enhanced understanding of business functions and informational needs.
- Enjoy optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up.
- Be conducting training sessions on tools, data sources, and architecture.
- Provide job aids and mentoring to team members and business users.

**Requisitos**:

- Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Engineering (preferably chemical).
- 5+ years prior experience in software development or data engineering.
- Experience in working with other data engineers and data scientists, has a strong understanding of the digital product development in an Agile environment.
- Proficiency with languages/tools **Python**, **SQL **and Git.
- Experience with Code Review, Code standards and Code Repository.
- Experience with Agile project management.
- Experience with CI/CD.
- Proficiency in English both verbal and written.
- Positive attitude with zeal to learn new things.
