The Sr. Business Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks may include contribution to external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Sr. Business Analyst may assist in activities such as the tracking of business financials, managing employee headcount or coordination of other administrative needs. May work on ad hoc projects as requested. **Responsibilities**: - Summarize budgets and submit recommendations for the approval or disapproval of funds requests - Analyze monthly department budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls - Review budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformity with procedures and regulations - Monitor the preparation of regular and special budget reports - Provide advice and technical assistance with cost analysis and fiscal allocation - Analyze budgetary/accounting data and provide financial recommendations - Gather and verify accuracy of financial records **Qualifications**: - 2-5 years of business analysis experience required - Experience creating documentation within standard development methodology - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills **Education**: - Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required. **Profile**: - Certified Accountant - Minimum experience of at least 2 years working in a financial institution, specifically in Technology area, with knowledge in the following activities: - Annual budget for IT area - Budget controls on a monthly basis to prevent deviations - Contracts administration from accounting point of view for the proper management of monthly expenses - Ability to analyze variations on a monthly basis vs plan, vs previous year and vs previous month - Variations explanations and propose improvement plans - Monthly and annual provisions - Experience in the management, control and administration of fixed assets in technology area - Fixed assets amortization projection - Rates calculation and determination - Managed and control in intercompany and business charges - Domain of bank ERP’s for reports generation and processing of them **Skills**: - Excellent handling of excel - Intermediate English (Speaking 50%, Reading and writing 80%) - Responsible, committed and proactive - Collaborative, empathetic and determined - **Job Family Group**: Business Strategy, Management & Administration - **Job Family**: Business Administration - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
