**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain the fixed asset subledger including additions, disposals, transfers, and adjustments.
- Monitor and review construction-in-progress (CIP) accounts and timely capitalization.
- Calculate and post monthly depreciation and reconcile with the general ledger.
- Ensure proper classification of capital assets.
- Prepare fixed asset roll-forwards and related disclosures for internal and external reporting.
- Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, AP, and Project teams to track assets and ensure compliance with capitalization policies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Analyze asset-related transactions and provide variance explanations.
- Support audits by providing detailed schedules and documentation related to fixed assets.
- Recommend process improvements and implement best practices for fixed asset tracking and reporting.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4-6 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years focused on fixed assets.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and fixed asset accounting.
- Experience with ERP systems (WD preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Bilingual - English and Spanish required.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
