As a Quality Assurance Team Leader, you will ensure the release of materials, coordinating laboratory staff and resources to guarantee the specification, according to customer requirements, aiming for zero quality leaks. You will report to Quality Control Liquid Paint Coordinator. Jobinsite. **Key Responsibilities** - You will manage personnel to ensure the release of materials, and the necessary resources to carry it out. - In compliance and follow-up to applicable standards such as ISO/9001 and IATF16949. - Review notification of requirements and QC Spec of codes for compliance with customer requests. - You will follow up on new release analysis. - Coordinate the use of procedures such as defective production reporting and abnormality reporting to define improvement opportunities by identifying material problems and help identify cause through the use of tools such as CAIR. - Focus group activities on continuous improvement to minimize quality indicators. - Lead, plan, organize and accomplish the process of implementation of strategies, methodologies and tools for quality and continuous improvement such as Kaizen, yellow or green belt. - Promote and oversee the control of hazardous waste. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in engineering. - 3+ years of experience in Paint and Coatings Quality Assurance. - Intermediate English. - 3+ years of experience in problem solving 8Ds, PDCA and KAIZEN. - You will test methods to evaluate automotive, industrial and packaging coatings. - Knowledge of ISO/TS16949 and good laboratory practices. - Intermediate knowledge of Office (Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), PowerPoint and internet). - You will work in site. - Follow us on LinkedIn **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.
