The HR Business Advisor works closely with HRBP to support the execution of HR initiatives. They work with People Leaders and Union to support them in being effective leaders, specifically in providing guidance in the areas of hourly performance feedback, employee engagement, and addressing labor relations issues. HR Business Advisors will also provide input into HR policies, processes and programs, within a specific business unit or market.

- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with impact and handle confidential information
- Ability to understand and provide guidance on HR compliance efforts
- Knowledge of employment-related laws, regulations, and applicable labor contracts
- Strong communication and facilitation skills

- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and meetings
- Market sensing / perspective

- 2 - 4 years of experience in Business HR or in a business role (desirable)
- Experience on HR systems development (desirable)
- Fluent English
- Support local management of labor contracts and participate in negotiations, as required
- Support Health and Safety activities, as required
- Participate hourly recruiting and hiring as required
- Manage investigations, as required
- Research and resolve employee complaints, e.g. grievances
- Facilitate the management and union working relationship
- Manage hourly workforce planning (e.g. shift preference/bumps, internal job bidding process, etc)
- Support the management of HR Business Advisors, safety engineers, security, medical personnel, workers compensation, training personnel, and communication
