JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for designing and implementing systems and equipment procedures used in the facility. Lead projects such as new product development, new raw material development, saving projects and capacity projects. The Process Engineer will be leading the continuous improvement system in the plant.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducting research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing.

Implement actions to improve production rates and OEE of the plant

Work with the departments to establish safety procedures (SOP)

Lead tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production

Troubleshooting problems associated with the manufacturing process.

Support to the Maintenance Manager to implement CAPEX Projects related to savings or process improvement.

Lead projects with the customers such as R&R and other statistical methods to improve measurement methods accuracy, improve quality and service level.

Lead investment projects and present to the stakeholders.

Lead the continuous improvement system in the plant.

Lead saving projects related to the process

KPI’s

Review and monitor critical Supply Chain KPIs to evaluate the health of the business such as
- OEE & Tracking Performance
- Plant Recovery
- Savings
- Energy Consumption

**Requirements**:
Key competencies
- Excellent management skills (teamwork organization), performance management & leadership.
- Very at ease in transversal management to influence other departments like sales, operations.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills, result oriented
- Multi-tasking skills
- Rigorous, organized and process oriented
- Able to maintain calm under pressure
- Analytical skills for troubleshooting problems related to the process

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a similar field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a process engineer in a worldwide environment
- Experience leading projects and people
- Excellent ability to promote new ideas and implement new processes/tools to support profitable business development and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent knowledge of statistical methods, six sigma, lean manufacturing, minitab.
- 90% level of English
