Process Engineer Sr. page is loaded## Process Engineer Sr.locations: North America/MEX/Monterrey - KDM-III (Milenium)time type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R*******We begin with dreams.Dreams drive our motivation.Dreams are our future.The world's dreams, people's dreams, our dreams.Our passion creates ideas that make dreams come alive.Technology and products that were only dreams become reality.All for dreams.Dreams challenge and the Nidec-Group will continue to meet the challenge.For the world's and people's tomorrows; the world's first, the world's best technologies and products; we will continue our part in creating a better society.**Job Summary**The process engineer will initially support the project manager to introduce full manufacturing capability.Once the project is completed, it is anticipated that the right candidate will become a Senior Process Engineer or Engineering Manager.The Process Engineer will determine and develop the most efficient manufacturing processes, including SMT, manual insertion, wave soldering, conformal coating, and case construction.Understand all equipment installation requirements, working closely with site services teams and equipment suppliers to ensure a quick installation schedule to support the project schedule.**Job Description**Responsibilities:· Machinist & Equipment: Support the project manager with the procurement of manufacturing equipment and create an equipment installation schedule· Teamwork: Work with the procurement team to identify suitable (local) equipment suppliers and support negotiations to achieve the best cost and within the project budget; Work closely with the test engineer to ensure that the manufacturing process not only delivers the best productivity, but also the best product quality· Continuous Improvement: Use Lean principles to design the most efficient manufacturing processes, taking into account the flow of products and materials in and out of production cells.· Documentation: Create standardized work instructions to ensure the product is designed to correct the standard and to aid operator trainingRequirements:· Previous experience with lean principles, VSM activities, VA Vs.
