**Role Definition**

The position is responsible for preparing and providing financial information/records in USAGAAP and MXGAAP in a timely and accurate manner, as well as providing functional and technical accounting advisory and support to other team members/departments.

**What you will do**:

- Prepare Financial Statements in accordance with USGAAP & MXGAAP, and explanations of variances month over month, and over prior year.
- Prepare journal entries, Account reconciliations, clearings of open line items, Currency revaluation/Exchange rate fluctuation impact, review and calculate financial impacts for lease contracts, review accounting information/records prepared for other team members/departments
- Provide functional and technical accounting advisory and support to Service Provider (Accenture team) and different departments
- Prepare ad hoc reporting requests, mapping and document activities/processes, suggest and implement improvements to processes, and participate in special projects as required.
- Prepare and provide information in a timely and accurate fashion to multiple internal and external customers such as: Tax & Statutory, Treasury, Corporate, Auditors (internal and externals), Authorities, Suppliers, etc
- Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls and Corporate governance.

**Degree Requirement**

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with working knowledge in financial reporting

**Skills you will have**

- Review and analyze large volume of data
- Prepare and provide financial information to multiple customers Review lease contracts

- Work with multiple departments to obtain information, resolve issues, and provide advisory

- Administer workload to comply and deliver according to timelines and due dates

**Problem Solving**:

- Work with multiple teams to determine action plans to resolve open and/or aged items/records
- Identify root cause of problems/issues and come up with solutions

**Accounting**:

- Prepare Journal Entries and Reconciliations
- Analyze and calculate currency revaluation as gain/loss in currency exchange
- Analyze and calculate financial impacts for lease contracts
- Provide technical accounting support to other team members and departments

**Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare Financial Statements
- Prepare ad hoc reports and information according to requests

**Additional Information**:

- The location for this position is Santa Catarina
- This position will require minimum travel (potentially 1 or 2 per year)
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm
- Availability of working in holidays and/or extended time during month end closing and/or special projects/requests
- English: Intermediate - Advance

- Advance/Fluent English
- Master degree or Accounting/Finance Certification
- Working knowledge on SAP
- Strong skills in MS Office tools such as Excel, MS Access, Power BI,
