Site IT Technical manager AstraZeneca Mexico

The purpose of the Mexico Site IT Technical Manager role is to lead or support a local small team of skilled & specialist IT professionals who will deliver and actively drive improvements for the IT infrastructure, tools and services that directly support the workforce across their site. The role will have an in-depth understanding of ETS technologies and services as well as the delivery organization, their operations, SPOC and engagement ways of working.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and manage local telecommunications network equipment, servers, and meeting rooms.
- Implement projects aimed at the renewal and modernization of IT infrastructure.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT tools and services.
- Ensure a high level of service and support for employees, enhancing their IT working experience.
- Identify opportunities to automate, consolidate, or rationalize IT service delivery.

Mandatory skills:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an IT Manager or equivalent
- Degree: In Computer Engineering or a similar field
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure service management
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Process-oriented skills
