**DESCRIPCION GENERAL DEL PUESTO**:
Responsable de mantener los procesos de producción en óptimas condiciones en calidad y volumen, garantizar el correcto funcionamiento de los herramentales y las herramientas en el proceso, maquinaria, y fixture. Responsable de mantener y mejorar el costo por pieza por herramientas y herramentales.

**OBJETIVOS ESPECIFICIOS**:
Responsable de la validación de los sistemas de manufactura y de las líneas de producción a su cargo (con proveedores y en planta.

**ACTIVIDADES A DESARROLLAR**:
Asegurar que los procesos de producción generan producto conforme a los requerimientos de los clientes en materia de calidad y tiempo de entrega.

Proveer a los departamentos de producción de las especificaciones de los productos, a fin de que éstos puedan cumplir en tiempo y forma con los programas de producción.

Cuando aplique, crear requisiciones de compra para luego cuando se requiera evaluar proveedores que estén calificados para el correcto y oportuno abasto al proceso de producción.

Controlar los cambios de Ingeniería para prevenir problemas de calidad.

Actualizar los Diagramas de Flujo del proceso, los FMEAs y los planes de control, según se requiera.

Preparar las Instrucciones de Trabajo que requiera el proceso y Responsable del diseño y aprobación del plan de manufactura / ruta de proceso.

Asegurar la capacidad de las máquinas de acuerdo con los requerimientos de los clientes (PPK). Asegurar el costo y vida útil de las herramientas de corte a través de cambios y mejoras en las mismas.

Administración de herramentales de la línea / costo por pieza.

Asegurar e implementar toda la documentación a su cargo requerida en la línea de ensamble (PPAP).

Monitorear áreas de mejora en el proceso, herramentales, así como opciones de reducción de costos a través de diferentes análisis de ingeniería
