Renamed international Oil&Gas Construction based in Mexico - Altamira

Location

Position based in Mexico City or in Altamira, Tamaulipas.

Your new Role As Planning Manager you will be responsible for providing overall project schedule, progress measurement and change management leadership supporting the contractor´s project control organization with respect to schedule development, advising the contractor’s organization with respect to adequacy of project controls and tools and reviewing daily schedule and progress baselines and forecast, developing schedule corrective actions & recovery plans verifying needed action plans, reviewing project changes to evaluate detail schedule impact, quantifying and incorporating the effect and impact of approved changes supporting project team with ongoing schedule analysis, ensuring the integration of subcontractor´s schedules and progress, participating in contract bid evaluations, ensuring the contractor schedule aligns with external schedule requirements, providing direction and feedback to engineering and participating with the functional organization driving and promoting efficiency on projects being stewarded by the department.

What you´ll need
- Bachelor´s Degree concluded
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in the planning department leading people for the construction, oil&gas or high volume manufacturing industries.
- Vast experience reviewing and providing project schedules, defining baselines and forecasts and implementing corrective action plans working under pressure.
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management coordinating multifunctional teams.
- Proactivity, hands on attitude, communication skills and team work.
- ERP - Oracle P6 (required)
- Advanced English (required)
