Particle Measuring Systems (PMS) sets the standard for cleanroom contamination monitoring. With more than 60 patents, we create the technology that enables our customers to make fact-based decisions, improve process yields and comply with ever-changing regulatory requirements.
We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to perform duties for the accounts payable function with some cross training for accounts receivable activities. These responsibilities include:
- Process payables consistently and correctly according to company policy by securing appropriate approvals and retaining documentation-
- Reconcile vendor statements to accounting records while investigating and resolving any discrepancies requiring working closely with the purchasing department.- Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files and reconciling accounts- Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes- Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data- Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts- Generating reports and statements for internal use- Assisting with audit support as necessary- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Accounting- Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience performing the above duties- Ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal departments.- Ability to work remotely with a stable internet connection on an as needed basis.- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and personal accountability- Proficient Written and Spoken skills in the English language required.- Work well in a team environment while having the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks- Developed analytical and critical thinking skills.- In addition, prior experience in a manufacturing environment, accounts payable and accounts receivable a plus.
