**Responsibilities**:
This Senior Accountant plays a key role in the organization’s tax compliance procedures and ensures compliance with the applicable law and requirements for our LATAM offices (Panama and Mexico).

**Responsibilities**
- Reviews tax returns and related reports to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax statues and regulations by working with external tax consultants to properly interpret tax laws and regulations
- Reviews accounting records ensuring tax transactions are recorded accurately in financial systems and maintains tax account reconciliations
- Manages Transfer Pricing process for multiple countries
- Sets up compliance procedures and ensures that appropriate internal controls are in place and documented for LATAM tax compliance
- Assists with research and implementation of tax processes and makes appropriate recommendations from a tax perspective
- Communicates frequently with CFO and other members of the finance management team
- Mentors other personnel on priority projects in both the tax compliance and accounting areas
- Manages tax disputes and resolutions, including audits

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of tax accounting experience
- Experience working within a dynamic multi-country team in a professional services firm
- A strong passion for working with tax related items
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional oral/written communication skills with ability to interact professionally with diverse groups. English (Intermediate - Advanced)
- Software: MS Office, Excel (Intermediate - Advanced)
