The Brand Transition Project Manager, LATAM is responsible for leading the product transition team to launch new embecta branded packaging in LATAM countries.

Must be fluent in English

This includes developing and executing a product transition plan that is the least disruptive to customers for all SKUs across more than 18 countries and channels including direct (Mexico, Colombia & Brazil) as well as Indirect customers served through Distributors (Or Drop-Shipment Countries) totalizing up to 16 markets. All products must fully transition to embecta including new SKU, GTIN, UDI, and embecta branding. The scope is for 45 SKU across the Region.

The Brand Transition Project Manager (PM) will lead the team in the development of the transition strategy and execution across all customer channels (Wholesaler, Distributors, Direct hospital customers, Retail, Government, eCommerce, Pharmacist and patients. The PM will work with global, regional, and country stakeholders and may need to manage multiple workstreams to meet project objectives, executing and delivering quality results within project timeline and budget. This role ensures no disruption in product to all end users.

The PM will work with regional functions such as Supply Chain, Regulatory, QA, and in-country stakeholders and is expected to build effective relationships with the team members, project team, and project stakeholders. The PM will report back on project status and risks (if any) to senior leadership from time to time.

Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional team to determine product transition strategy by customer/channel and detailed execution plan by customer/channel for LATAM including Retail, Market Access, eCommerce, Government, distributors/wholesalers.
- Lead project through system changes/updates across the full distribution system (distributor, wholesaler systems, retailer systems/dispensing systems, B2B partners, government systems, etc)
- Lead team through development of demand plan for old and new SKUs, inventory management plan, returns plan and discontinuation plan including financial implications (evaluate opportunity to donate, destroy, redistribute or repackage)
- Lead team for all market access contracts need to be updated in appropriate systems to ensure patient coverage at POS
- Lead transition across 45+ SKUs
- Collaborate with Strategic Marketing Manager to develop full communication plan for each customer to support transition (launch presentations, communications toolkit, customer specific communications, messaging, etc)
- Lead project team consisting of members from various functions and countries
- Provide on-time status of the project status to the General management
- Eligible to travel up to 20%

Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years overall project management or sales/marketing experience driving projects from initiation through closure.
- Demonstrated experience managing pre-launch commercial activities.
- Drives project execution to meet project schedule, cost, and quality.
- Experienced in helping the team plan and drive change.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office including Powerpoint, MS Project and Excel
- Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Consulting experience within in the pharmaceutical, medical device, OTC and/or FMCG industry and a particular focus on launch activities preferred
- Ability to work with all levels in organization including executives/leadership level.
- Ability to work cross functionally and across multiple functions, to ensure individual’s accountability and responsibility.
- Experienced at stakeholder management and working successfully cross-functionally.
- Ability to influence without authority and use negotiation skills to create a win-win strategy.
- Proactive in surfacing risks/issues and engages project team and stakeholder community to resolve issues and define risk mitigations as well as develop resolution options for escalation to project s
