As a member of a cross functional team, you lead RDQ activities required to complete process design and process deployment for innovation, growth and cost optimization projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience.
**How you will contribute**
Working independently, you will lead technical work across multiple projects aligned with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will also lead activities designed to generate appropriate process information using modelling and simulation, and pilot plant scale up and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. You will be involved with/lead process design and specifications, process scale-up and commissioning and will ensure the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies. This position requires you to manage stakeholders and to influence decisions based on data analysis and interpretation of results; create and maintain accurate consumer centric process specifications; leverage connections to internal and external technical communities, and; create intellectual property that gives Mondelēz International a competitive advantage.

The position of Sr. Engineer I Pure Refreshment Platform form Gums is designed to lead the deploy programs related to product Innovation, productivity and sustainability initiatives to support LA business.
This position will develop, implement and monitor projects with low level of supervision of management, involving technical skills of new products, new formulas and materials, considering new technologies, new suppliers, cost savings (productivity), quality and process improvements, according to Mondelēz International guidelines.
**Qué debes saber acerca de esta posición**:
1. Knowledge of the Innovation pipeline of Gum Platform Global and Regional, looking for synergies and opportunities.
2. Lead development and deployment of NPDs for Pure Refreshment Platform for Gums to be manufactured in LATAM
3. Join G&C category meetings to track NPDs.
4. Work together with Brand Managers and ISC to build an Innovation Pipeline receiving from Global team, thinking on medium and long term opportunities.
5. Lead the Planning and management of ideas generation: internal and with suppliers for Gum global and regional.
6. Support the PQB Studies with regional team integrating information from R&D Product development and Consumer Science stand point.
7. Support the evaluation of NPDs / Productivity / BCP / Quality Improvement Initiatives with Consumer Science with focus on Pure Refreshment Gum platform through a Sensory Panel.
8. Join Global Forums to share/receive CS knowledge through the Bytes Newsletter and Global CS Team Site
9. Support the knowledge sharing in NPDs for G&C through document management with ISO 9000 (SOPs) and R&D Suites.

**Educación/ Titulaciones**:
- University degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bachelor in Food, Chemistry, Agroindustrial Engineer or related.
- High technical expertise in Kraft Foods/Mondelez International and other companies, preferably in product development for food industry.
- Handling multiple projects for over 5 years.
- Experience in developing product / process / formula for more than 5 years.
- Experience in the marketing of product / process / formula for over 5 years
